Inspiration, for the better.

While I did my daily routine of checking my most favored websites (mostly of my favorite Photographers I idolize) and I had checked in on Rachel Devine aka Sesame Ellis! While I read her blog I came across a playlist that she had posted called "Do Fun Stuff." You can find these songs on itunes or you can buy the album on dofunstuff.net with 100% of the profits going to a great cause. While I sat here in the living room alone I listened to all the songs and I fell in love with it!
The songs are inspiring and it makes me think back on my own childhood, these songs also inspire me even more to volunteer to "Give Kids the World." The Walt Disney World Company allows us Cast Members to have an easy access to Volunteer and to help give Children who have internal illnesses the time of their lives! It's the best way to give back to our community & to share and spread happiness as well as hope in these children!
Beside the volunteering, the songs seem to fit me and my personality, it makes me feel creative and I now have the urge to wait for a rainy day to come so I can whip out all of my arts and crafts and have an "arts and crafts day" with my roommates.
Now that I am thinking of it...I might just theme my roommate, Brittany's birthday around this playlist set. She has stated many times before that she wants to stay a teenager forever, so in theory she means that she wants to forever remain a child. So, with purple balloons, and purple party hats, purple cupcakes and purple party favors (purple is her favorite color in case you hadn't noticed..;) ) I am going to throw her a sweet 20th birthday..not quite a party, but a roomie party! That indeed sounds like a plan to me!

Anyway, my day started a bit late, I practically almost had a heart attack when I woke up (not sure why, but I'll blame my dream on this one..). I laid in bed for a bit before I heard Brittany wake up and yell "Oh my gosh it's so late!!!" Of course I am sure she didn't mean to yell it out, but I smiled a little and laughed because we both are the same way when we sleep the day away. We both got up at the same time, put on some clothes and decided we'd do laundry. But by the time we got to the laundry room all of the washers were taken up, that sucked a bit so we just headed back to our apartment. I made some Chef Boyarde (kinda icky..) and browsed the internet till Brittany had to leave for work, I had talked to my Mommy for a little while as well! When she left I decided to go back to the laundry room and this time I was in luck! I had put my clothes to wash and decided to call my Daddy and we had a nice conversation about stuff till my clothes were done washing. I had stuck them all in the dryer and went out to lounge around the corner at the pool! I had soaked up some sun for an hour, I called my Brother in the process of this, then headed back to my apartment. While I walked back enjoying the breezy day I took a peak at the gym that we have and I decided I'd have to at least go there once or twice a week! I picked up my laundry on my way back and made up my bed with my freshly washed sheets and folded all of my clothes and put them away! SItting around I didn't know what else to do with my free time...but I took the time to make out a list of things I want to do. I love being organized!
I decided I'd head to Magic Kingdom for a bit to take some photos! So I grabbed my Canon and off I went on an adventure to Magic Kingdom.
Spending less than 30 minutes there I realized how lonely it can get just browsing the Kingdom all alone. So I had called Matt and asked him if we could get Chipotle, he agreed and I decided to leave the Magic Kingdom and head over to his place for a bit. When I got there Dan (his roommate) drove us there! I enjoy being in the company of Matt's friends because it just makes me feel like I am not just a "girl" I am one of the "guys" meaning they can tease me all they want, I'll just have something to say right back! lol
After our Chipotle run I headed back to my place, and here I am back at the beginning of this post.
Tomorrow I work and I am quite excited! Soon, we'll see what each day brings! I hope it's a mountain of happiness and smiles of little children eager to see their favorite character, or the Princess they love the most!
I love my job! <3
