This post won't be so in depth as much as the others, mainly because I have come down with a terrible cold and I have a horrible fever. I blame hanging out with Matthew! I should have stocked up on Vitamin C before wanting to hang out with him and the other guys (who were sorta sick too).
I am sitting again in the living room, lol, and I am so full. I just ate some food that I couldn't taste (because I can't breathe), and I had taken 1,000 mg of Vitamin C yet again.
Let's recap the past 2 days.
Thursday (Was it really?):
It was my first day all alone on the job without Michael (my trainer) to guide me by the hand! I think I did really well! I talked to a lot of people and made some new friends as well! I only got rotated twice to two different stores! And I was lucky I had got to eat at my Tea Party (Code word for "break") with my new friend, Veronica!
Everyone here is so nice! It's insane! :)
Well, I worked till close, and as we were shutting down the Pooh Store all of the closing Merchandise employees came in (mostly girls). While we waiting for our MOD to have a small closing meeting my new friends, Kimberly and Ben decided that they were going to cook that night and invited some people. And I was one of those guests invited! After the meeting, Kim and my new other friend named, Chen and I headed straight back to our apartments! We stopped at our places to change and grab some things and off we went to Ben's place! I have never felt so much more at home than I did with these guys. When I got there, there were about 4 other girls and one other guy (Ben's roommate) there. We all sat around watching Glee! Mind you I've never watched it so much before in my life but I was hooked! It also seems that some people like me! So I feel happy there :)
I left around 12:50am and talked to my Mom on the way back home.
Of course when I got home I showered and got ready for bed, popped in a Newlywed DVD and then watched an episode or two then passed out for the night!
But of course I did not sleep well at all! I was up all night! I had such a bad sore throat that I kept on salivating! It was gross! Sorry for the TMI...
Hopefully tonight will be better.
Friday (Was it really?):
Today I woke up around 11am, even though I was up all night! And I showered and got ready to just make the day better! Brittany woke up and I asked her "Want to come to Chipotle with me?" immediately she got out of bed, got dressed and we were ready to leave! Since I had never gone to a Chipotle in Orlando before on my own, I jotted down some directions I had gotten from Google Maps since my GPS didn't seem to want to comply to my wishes...and off we went on our adventure! Well...we missed the Chipotle and ended up at Pei Wei (still just as good right?) and it sure was! I got to spend some quality time with my roommie and I learned a lot more about her than I thought I would have known...
After our lunch run we headed back home, and as I was getting ready for work Brittany had put 300 more songs on my ipod! That is a lot of music! I am set for a long time now! :)
Fast forward...
Work was fun! I was outside all day, it was kind of long though only because I am so sick but I made it fun for the guests! Since I was out by the carts, I played with the bubble wand, making bubbles, watching children scream "BUBBLES" and run through them to pop them! I also had a Mickey glove that I wore and waved "Hi" to all of the guests who walked by! :)
My favorite part of the day was when this little girl came up to me while I was making bubbles and she was about 2 years old and she just kept on screaming "Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles!' Oh I was smitten by her...she and I danced with the bubble wand for a good 8 minutes before her Daddy said it was time to see Mickey Mouse! She hugged me and waved goodbye to me! I was so sad! I will always remember these moments with children, although they may not really remember what happened while they were at Disney, I am hoping I am somewhere there in the back of their subconscious, knowing they had a blast at Disney!
And that was my day!
As you can see it was more in depth than I thought it would be! But then again there is just so much to tell! Anywho, I am exhausted, I have a fever and I am freezing! So it is off to bed I go!!!
